The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Pay for Success team is using PFS to scale up the Promotor Pathway Program ® by Latin American Youth Center (LAYC). The evidence-based case management program for vulnerable teens and young adults in Washington, D.C helps to reduce the long-term effects of homelessness for transition-aged youth through a mentoring and advocacy model. The PFS project illustrates the impact of evidence-based research and early interventions in reducing long-term instability and the risk of youth being chronically homeless as adults.
