In this blog, part one of a new series, Living Cities outlines the first question it asks when evaluating a potential project: what will the impact be? To answer this question, Living Cities focuses on considerations such as outcomes, scale, and the target population. Outcomes--particularly people being on track for a better quality of life in the long-term--are much more important than outputs. For scale, this revolves around the proportion of the population served as well as replicability and building an evidence base.
